For the record, I'm a girl (heh...seems to be a problem I have here).

Anyway, I would really appreciate it if my partner would consider a vasectomy...or even offer it up. I do not want children and if we (he and I) make this long-term would it be weird to ask him to do it? I mean my pills make me cranky, weepy and hungry...hate it.

To temper any maternal instincts I have, I adopt rescue animals. Some people think it is a weird decision to not have kids.

I had the ole snip-snip about five years ago, and I have no regrets. We had our second child and agreed that we had all that we wanted. The procedure itself was less painful than having a tooth filled, and I was back on my feet at full speed within 48 hrs. Worst part: icing your balls.

Highly recommended, much less dangerous/painful than having the female get fixed, you're the unspoken envy of the whole male group that you work and deal with who claim, "I'd never let anyone near me there with a sharp object," while they secretly wish they had the "balls" to go through with it.

I've known since I was a kid that I didn't want any of my own, & had The Procedure done a few years ago. Best thing I ever did.

Ah. I remember a lot of that going on during freshman year at university.

Not me, of course. I cannot concentrate sufficiently in the shower to make it work, solo. Done things in the shower as a couple, though.
