On a tip from a coworker, I went to Target tonight because he said the First/Second Season boxset of Seinfeld was on sale for $19.99 and I've been wanting to start the collection. In any event, I come to find out all seasons(1-6) are $20 and so daddy had to make some purchases. Only downer was Season 3 was out, and Circuit City/WalMart (who price match) were out as well. So I dropped 80 on 4 seasons which is a steal since I refuse to pay for cable.

Went to the web to see if they had the DVDs on sale there (they don't) but found this on the Target website. How bizarre.

As much as I love Seinfeld (watch an episode a day, on average), I can't seem to come around to buying it on DVD. It's just syndicated so frequently.

Plus, I watch it so often as it is, if I had it on DVD at my disposal, I might drive my girlfriend mad.

Well, I've started buying more tv boxsets due to me quitting cable. I'll usually pop one in as I eat dinner, or just hit 3 up before bed.

That is bizarre. I wonder how many of those he had to sign to have Target sell them. :?

Serenity Now....insanity later.

The DVD's are worth it ( especially at $20 a pop ) for the bonus stuff, & the fact that the episodes aren't hacked all to Hell ( TBS in particular is horrible about how much they edit out ) .

Yeah no doubt. I've been watching the eps with commentary and the pop up facts about each ep. Especially with the earlier episodes, which I didn't see until syndication, its a treat to see them uncut.

I love the bit in that one where Kramer's trying to open the bag of chips.
