The song posted is:
The Forecast - Some Things Never Change

I just got my hands on this disc, and I am really digging it. Tell me what you think.

I know, I know, it's not Shrimp Boat, but.................

I like those bands. I'll check this out when I get home.

Listening now.
It's not bad, but it could easly be played on many an "Adult-alt" station that so many of you seem to abhor.

Still... it ain't bad.
It ain't Shrimp Boat, but it ain't bad.
;)

I agree with Todd. It sounds kind of like a countrified Guster song, with a touch of Third Eye Blind in the vocals. Not bad, but the lyrics are kind of throwaway and the production's a little big for its britches.

Man the rest of this album is no where near that country-ish tune. I enjoy some of the girl-guy harmonies in some of the songs but it's a little too "alternative" for my taste.

If you really like the one tune, just stick with that.

Thanks though Timis!

liked it. not sure about sounding like wilco tho -- sounded more like an alt-country clem snide to me.

alot of reviews i read mentioned wilco - so i followed suit. i agree though (not sounding like wilco). and like busty said - the rest of the disc is in fact different from the posted song.

I would, I just don't want to post a pic of him without his permission.

Hey, btw, how did you make those nice little columns of lists on your Wordpress site? I just started a blog and want to make song and book lists but couldn't seem to figured out where to do it in the settings.
