Jason Amm is well-known for his solo electro(nica) project Solvent, with a career spanning nearly 8 years, including 4 full-length releases on well-known labels such as Ghostly International, Morr Music, and Suction Records, as well as remixes for such established artists as Soft Cell, Adult., and Alter Ego. In collaboration with Thomas Sinclair, BLACK TURTLENECK takes Solvent's patented melodic electro sound one step closer to the classic synthpop stylings of Soft Cell, The Human League and Depeche Mode.
