Boy, that song sucks. I think this was the absolute nadir of McCartney.

Remember when actors where guesting in videos all the time?

Imagine being in radio at the time, & having to spin "Spies" 2-3 times in a 5 hour shift. Geh.

I really liked this song when I was a kid.

Watching the video now, I feel embarrassed for Paul.

You just know he wrote that song in like 5 minutes.

I remember liking that song when it came out back in '84 or whenever the hell it was. But I was a kid. I had that excuse.

Strangely, Ol Sir Paul, at the HEIGHT of the age of Mullet, has the best haircut he's ever had. Ever the iconoclast

As I mentioned in a previous thread, Spies Like Us would have been heightened by several more nude scenes. Knowingly terrible 80's comedies cannot do without them.

Paul does something sucky and embarassing.

In other news, John and George are dead, and Ringo has a beard.

"Sorry I'm late. IIII had to attend the reading of a will...I had to stay until the very end and found out I received nothing......................................broke my arm."

Chase was gold in that flick.

I like this one too.

"Alright, if you let us go...................I'll bring back the sun."

Oh, and I loved the theme song as a kid.

That's the stuff I was thinking of, particularly that classroom scene, it still kills me; I just find it less funny with the nuke stuff at the end.

"We're just hitching a ride with these guys, we won't have to jump."

"Jump?! No chance, we won't have to jump."
