Did anybody watch this last night? It looks good. I'm a huge fan of the UFC.

And why aren't there any cute boys on the show? They're all fugly and shit.

"Smashing Machine" is an awesome movie on that subject. Didn't make me interested in the sport itself, but I loved the narrative of that film. And it was nice that the older mentor guy wound up winning the big money at the end.

I remember watching the first few of these in Uni, back when Royce Gracie was untouchable. I was much less sensitive to violence back then.

I used to watch these all the time. Ken Shamrock was pretty awesome, as was Vito Belfort and Tito Ortiz. I was never really into the Gracie's because submission fighting was pretty boring.

On the next Pay-Per-View (Feb 5), the main event is Tito Ortiz vs. Vito Belfort. Can't wait.

huge fan of mma, i prefer pride to ufc though. i was lucky to catch this show since it had 0 promotion, hopefully i can keep remembering about it. show was great. early ufc really pales in comparison to current mma though.

Oh I never actually paid to see them. I'd always rent the tapes or the one time me and my friend did get it on PPV we didn't end up paying for it for some reason. So I'll probably just end up hearing about this sometime because I don't really "have cable".

It's like softcore gay porn with head punching. I'm ashamed of what this stuff does to me.
