i was at the grocery store earlier. there is a cd rack there and 99% of the time i just ignore it because it's just new age crap and those 10 greatest hits comps for bands that had 2 hits for 9.99.

well, something caught my eye this time. a Saves The Day ep for 2.99. So i looked through the whole rack. i got the Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin and a Ben Harper cd for 2.99 each. Should I go back and get these?:

i'm pretty sure i've got the titles right

The Ataris - Goodbye, Astoria (i think this is the title)
The Bottlerockets - Leftovers
Chevelle - Point # 1

i don't know chevelle, but those other two (it's so long, astoria) are pretty mediocre albums from those bands. they may be worth 2.99, though.

God, you're edgy...

The Bottle Rockets are a good band, in a DBT, Uncle Tupelo vein, but that disc might be their weakest. For $2.99 its worth a shot.

For $3?

You might as well. You could probably sell them to a used cd store or at a garage sale and make a profit.

Chevelle are one of the few nu-metal bands that I think are pretty good. I'd buy it unless that's not your thing.
