This is about a month old from DeRogatis and Kot's show...great stuff with Jon Brion going on and on about all sorts of stuff. It's a delight listening to this guy riff on music even when he's not playing a single note.

The first part of the show reviews the final Cash/Rubin thing, but the Brion segment starts about 1/3 of the way in.

And he does a solo piano take on the Eternal Sunshine theme right at the end.

ok, i just got through this whole show and it's great. jon brion talking about the differences between a song and a performance is awesome. now i'm thinking of it in everything i've listened to this morning.

I know, right? I wish I could take a class with him as the professor or something. I imagine his pop quizzes would be crazy fun.
