You know, I don't think so... I've talked to a lot of people that are born and bred Portlanders, and this city has really changed within the last decade to 15 years.

The job market is actually pretty good right now depending on what kind of skills you have, of course. Educational software design is a fairly narrow field but there are a lot of software and other high tech companies that might be interested.

Heh. I had a feeling about that when I typed it... heh heh... sorry.

Yeah, I somehow thought that the proximity to CA might make it a software-friendly place... and that the lefty tendencies might make it education-oriented. Pure theory though. :wink:
