I've heard one track and I really dig it.
I know that I need to pick up some Clem Snide, but has anyone heard Eef's solo record?

What's your opinion?

I've heard a track called "I wasn't really drunk" somewhere. I liked it. More than Clem Snide, anyway.

It's ok, but the songs seem kind of half-assed to me. Probably the reason why it's a solo record instead of a Clem Snide one.

Probably should get this back out sometime soon for another listen.

Lyrically i think Eef is top notch, musically, it's a bit of a hodge podge of indie/alt/country/singer/songwriter/americana stuff. clem snide and the solo record are great because at times you can intently listen to the stories told. other times, when the melodies don't hit their mark (and some on the solo record do miss) you can have it on in the background as pleasant if not quirky "lemonade on the porch" listening.

anyway, Todd, if you had to choose somewhere to begin i'd get Ghost Of Fashion, though amazingly, AMG has given every Clem Snide album 4 stars or better.
