Gonna pick this one up tonight. Was at the concert last night, good show, these guys are awesome live. They played 3-4 new songs, generally slower songs. I really liked one, two were pretty good, one that I was not huge on. Overall though, they kicked ass. Love watching Sarah on the cello too...

I had heard they had a new album out, but didn't know when. I'll try to pick this up when I can. Though I hope its more like their first album than their last.

Cursive has announced the track listing for their upcoming record Happy Hollow. The album is the first since the departure of cellist Gretta Cohn who's instrument was a fixture of the band's 2003 release The Ugly Organ.

Prior to the release, the band will play a number of U.S. shows in July, followed by appearances at Lollapalooza in Chicago and the FM4 Frequency Festival in Salzburg. It is set to arrive on August 22nd via Saddle Creek.

Great record. Really an enjoyable listen throughout. I have a feeling it will move up my list as well.
