What is the '06 album you find yourself listening to MOST?
It may not be the one you consider the "Best" or it may be.

For me:
Def Leppard - YEAH!
is the one I just cannot stop listening to. Too much fun. Great songs performed well.

Same, Comets.

I was listening to the Spank Rock record a few times a week for 8 months. I've cooled it since April.

I can't really single one out this year. In other years this would have been easy, but not this year. I guess if you twisted my arm I'd have to say either Wolfmother or Gnarls Barkley.

Well poptodd thread robot, i think i keep spinning Ecstatic Sunshine, because it is just so much fun. Possibly that Old Crow Medicine Show could be a regular "put me in a good mood early morning" record.

But if i really want to wake my arse up, beat up on the chavs or just dance like a spazz where nobody can see me, then it has to be the Melvins.

The album I listen to most is always the one I feel is the best. It also subsequently gets the most future listens too.

Yeh, I really don't make this distinction either. The best album IS the one I listen to most.

According to iTunes, my #1 is also my most played. But I would've guessed that Night Ripper is way up there among my most played.

its just some good indie pop rock stuff with a slight emo edge. his voice bugged me initially, but it really works in a lot of situations, is why its so good. its a fantastic summer record. and i could play it around camp and my girlfriend really liked it too. its worth checking out, i think you would like a majority of the songs at least.

Though I don't listen to any album repeatedly, the one I've listened to the most often (probably 14-15 times) is Blue October - Foiled.

First time was in capacity as station music director. Second time was because I couldn't believe how much I liked it the first time, because I had thought it would suck. Subsequent times are because it sounds great in the truck.

Probaby will wind up 19th or 20th on my best-of-the-year, but certainly my favorite mainstream release of the year.
