I know a lot of people hate even discussing year-end stuff this early. But fuck, we've got Christmas trees for sale at my store already.

I just figure this one is doable, since most major releases through to December are already known about by now.


What do you think will be obner listmania #1 of 2006?


I was surprised to see Spoon take the top spot last year, personally. But I guess it makes sense as it's pretty typical indie rock, not too electronic or too folk or too anything else to particuarly alienate anyone.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Belle And Sebastian take the top spot but I'll also be really curious to see what does.

well, i gave most of the album yet another listen & it'll probably be a contender for me vs b&s.

then there's modest mouse in december.
