Remember that time Scott Mitchell did awesome in the playoffs, and the Lions signed him to that massive contract, only to have him STB?

I'll concede dude had a good game, but Don Majkowski was league MVP in 1989...

Mark Rypien won a Super Bowl

Etc...

By all this I mean, of course Grossman is a future Hall of Famer

I'm glad the Bears stomped Detroit - now my Packers don't look quite so bad.

And like I said before: Favre is playing some of the BEST football of his life this year.

I'm not sure how the Bears could've possibly played much better than they did in their first two games, so I don't really see how anyone could take anything away from them.

They demolished both teams, outscoring their opponents 60-7. The competition wasn't great, but it's not as if the games were even close at any point.

Yeah, Chicago looks like the best team in the NFL right now. Granted, they haven't played a very good team yet, but they did destroy both opponents.

The Falcons and Colts are the only other two teams that could lay claim to that spot, but Chicago's defense gives them the edge, in my mind. San Diego has looked good too, but they've played even worse competition than the Bears. If Pittsburgh looks good tonight and wins, you'd have to throw them into the top 5 as well.

Steelers? defending champs or not, I don't think so. Miami hasn't shown me anything to make them a quality win, and I still hold against pittsburgh the astronomical amount of lucky breaks that went their way in the last weeks of last year.

I will assume from here on out that you know nothing about football ;)

I'd rather be lucky than good ANY day.

Yeah, that's why I qualified it based on how the look tonight. If they go into Jax and beat them convincingly, I'd put them in the top 5.

It was 0-0 at kick-off.
