So, what's the verdict? If, hypothetically, I were to love The Blackened Air, like Run to Ruin but no as much, and have not heard Dogs, what would you recommend? Hypothetically.

I got this a couple of weeks ago. I've not really come to a verdict yet because I've not been able to give it the repeated listens I'd like to but right now I'd say it was her weakest effort so far.

Of course that's not to say that it's bad, because it isn't, but it seems to me (so far at least) that it doesn't stand comparison with her previous LP's.

It came out on the 11th September here. I think the US release date was a couple of weeks later, so it will either be released or soon will be.

Hypothetically, you should get Dogs.

i love the new album. definitely better than road to ruin.

and i agree with phil, you should definitely pick up dogs.
