Good to see the gap closed overnight (although I voted for Doolittle I always flip-flop). Also good to see Trompe Le Monde still way back there. I mean, there's good stuff on there, more than alongdrive gave them credit for, but still not close to the first two.

For me it will always be Come On Pilgrim because it is the first Pixies I ever bought, I bought it when it was new on vinyl. I had never heard of them but bought it because it was on 4AD and, at that time, I liked pretty much the entire 4AD roster. I was really surprised at what they sounded like (i.e. not very 4AD sounding) but completely and forever blown away by it!

I must say, I used to like Doolittle the best, but Surfer Rosa started creeping into my stereo more and more when I needed a Pixies fix.
