these two in particular are odd. Taken 9/11/01. Not photoshopped, actual photos of the carnage happening and people just being people like any other day. Very strange. Read the artists comments on the website about them.

Since I live on this little island, I notice now that I can ID a tourist by his site lines, "look, he's look around!" And in keeping with this theory: when I am on vacation in cities I notice that people don't actually look around at the environs they inhabit much. You look at the sidewalk, you look at your girlfriend, you don't really look at the skyline much. Just an observation. You want to look like a tourist? Look up.

that small photo with the guys and the bike doesn't look like they're just going about their day. They look like they all stopped what they were doing and are all talking about it.

The guy on the bottom left who is crouching I can totally hear saying, "what. the. fuck."

The top one with the couple in the grass is really bizarre though.

i think that it's a tad unfair to say "god, that guy's an asshole, look at him not knowing how to react on that day". They all look like they're doing more than i did, stare at the TV mumbling "we are so fucked. we are so fucked".
