Yeah, I agree...I mean, it would have been worth not going to the Super Bowl to have never had him. Cause we all know Philly would have made it there (not to mention had a chance to win!) without him

This makes me laugh actually...we had made it to the NFC Championship the prior 3 seasons, so there's no reason to believe that we wouldn't have done it again without TO in 2004. And if I recall correctly, we won both playoff games without TO, and the one playoff game he played in (the Super Bowl), we lost. This idea that the Eagles became a championship team when TO arrived is laughable, and obviously most people who don't follow the Eagles on a daily basis think that. The truth is, TO became a cancer when he was here, and the best thing the Eagles did was kick his ass off the team. A move most Eagle fans, including myself, applauded at the time.

I'm gonna laugh my ass off this week reading all the dumbass quotes coming out of Dallas.

This really pisses me off a lot more than the last few seasons, because this Cowboys team is actually good enough to win these games they've blown, and there really isn't any NFC team out there who is clearly better than they are (except maybe the Bears, oddly enough -- who woulda thunk it???). Based on today's win, it can definitely be said that the Eagles are better, too.

I really wish they woulda got that Billy kid from the Titans that used to plat at Fresno State.

Nah, the Titans got rid of his ass because he's locker room cancer, and I trust Jeff Fisher's judgement in such matters more than any other coach in the league. Mofo damn near cut Hainesworth on the field after the Gurode stomping last week.

I know you guys are going to think this is typical kneejerk Bob, but fucking Bledsoe is ruining this team.

Yeah, it wouldn't shock me if we see Romo starting soon. The Cowboys have a good enough running game and defense, that they really just need a QB who isn't going to make any mistakes. Bledsoe no longer falls into that category. He might be better at chucking the ball upfield to Glenn and TO, but the Eagles just proved that if you can get to him first, it doesn't matter.

And as for T.O., maybe if he wouldn't drop so many fucking passes, his constant sideline bitching and moaning would be justified. But as of right now, he's nothing more than a high-priced decoy who isn't coming anywhere near delivering on the field.

This is what happens when TO doesn't get what he wants soon enough in a game. He starts giving up on plays early, short-arming catches, etc. Any Eagles fan would be happy to tell you this.

Anyway, it was a hell of a win for my Eagles. I was getting a little nervous about all the sportscasters being high on the Eagles early in the season. They really hadn't beaten any good teams yet, and the second half of their schedule is brutal. They need to win as many of these early games as possible. I'm a little more confident now that they have a good shot at getting into the playoffs and maybe doing more.

Im glad something makes you laugh.
HOWEVER, you really think the Eagles go 13-3 and get home field without TO absolutely fucking owning the league for the first ten games of the season? Ill answer it. No. They likely wouldnt have played the two worst playoff teams at home and who knows from there. That team was not their best team, but having Owens made it that way.

In exchanging e-mails with a few of my fellow Cowboy fans, we are all in agreement that aside from Bledsoe, the real goat of the game was Defensive Coordinator Mike Zimmer. It was Zimmer's BRILLIANT gameplan to repeatedly run CORNER blitzes, leaving his lousy covering safeties in single coverage to get burned by such waiver wire scrap heap fodder as HANK BASKETT.

Parcells is no great shakes, either.

it's not knee jerk to say get rid of Beldsoe.

he has skills but he makes too many dumb decisions, as proven today.

i don't know what they are doing but every week a different WR seems to be WIDE open for a huge play.

You go ahead and keep thinking that TO will make the Cowboys a better team. I thought that way too once upon a time...;)

I love how people just don't want to give credit to the Eagles system.

It's still early. A good blow job can't be given until 3 AM, the earliest, but I'll keep you informed (since you asked)...;)
