Juana Molina is amazing live

I saw her last night and she totally blew me away.
So talented, understated, sweet, and beautiful.
She basically reproduces her recordings live, which is quite insane.
She is my current idol.

She is pretty in that video/doc, especially for her age. Even in that dull picture Rads comments on you can still see she's got a pretty face without all the make up, good structure.

I saw her earlier in the year. She wasn't bad...has a nice voice but I thought all the looping and effects detracted from her music. I liked her personality and sense of humor though, the rest of the crowd was much more into her than I was and she seemed really humbled by the adulation. I'll give her that. Regarding her looks, not bad but not really notable. I'd agree with rads though that she had a lot of mannish features and I say that not from these pics or the video (which i didn't watch) but from standing five feet in front of her for an hour. But ultimately who cares how she looks, it should be all about the music.

i saw her open for david byrne a couple of years ago and she was hauntingly beautiful...definitely recommend her live show.

First heard a cut from one of her albums I think it is called Tres Cosas. Very captivating light voice. Smooth rhythms and melodies. I wanted more.
