you should photoshop a more hardcore look on his face, but otherwise it's pretty sweet.

Now, with this one, I'd open the aperture as wide as possible to get a narrow depth of field - narrow enough to make the background slightly out of focus, which would allow the subject (the slug) to stand out in relief against an otherwise confusing and flat composition.
