My roommate put down $3700 for two tickets to Saturday's game. Man, to have that kind of money to throw around... I wouldn't spend it on a baseball game, that's for sure.

This week is almost an afterthought at this point.
Saturday is all that matters.

My pops and I went to every Red Wings home playoff game in 1995 (the year they were swept in the finals) and to this point that was the pinnacle of my sports spectator experience.
But this will be different. The city is SO OVER ITS HEAD right now for this team, downtown Detroit is gonna be bonkers fun for the next week or so.
I can't wait.

4 months ago i got rid of cable.....one word tivo is a bad thing....

Tickets going for up to $5,000 a pair on Tigers' ticket exchange site. Haven't checked eBay yet.
We got ours for a paltry $75 each. I'm still in shock.

Looking for hotels downtown so we can party like Mardi Gras that night. This will be epic.

I tried to get tix at 10 today, but after a few minutes the page would freeze on me, so I didn't get any. The son of a woman I work with got two tix for Sun., but that's as close as I'll get.
