I'm designing a small website, and I'd like to sell our logo on T-shirts and other merchendise, but I'm not really interested in producing, shipping, and billing them myself... I'd rather give someone else a cut, and let them do the crapwork, provided its not too much more expensive.

I know there are websites out there that offer this kind of deal. Has anyone here had any good/bad experiences with this kind of thing?

i was actually surprised at how cheap having tshirts made actually was. i would be too afraid to use a middleman for fear that i'd have my name on something that someone else controlled the quality on. how many do you think that you're going to sell?

Probably not many, if at all... especially in the next year or two. It would not be worth my time to set up a shoping cart-type system, and then I'd have to worry about taking credit cards, etc.

Thanks for the link, Pagoda! I'll definitely look into this one. If a lot of other places use this one the quality couldn't be TOO bad, right?

I know some band's here in my area use http://www.merchdirect.net It's kinda what you had in mind from your description, don't know if I'd go that route or how their service is, but it's something.

I also do silkscreening for pretty cheap, and I'm willing to do small runs. I'd be willing to print some Obner T's if people were actually interested in buying them. Cost would depend on the size of the run, but if someone wants to get an idea of how many people want em, I'll hook it up. Someone hit me with some e-mailage if you wish.

EDIT: The site I actually was thinking of was http://loudmerch.com
