Hasn't UGA bit some people before too?
I'm all for live mascots, except for the ones that are huge and tear up the field with their hooves, but it's amazing that lawsuits haven't arisen from events like this.

I don't think UGA has ever been accused of biting an opposing player but I could be wrong.

There's this famous (at least to Southern football fans) picture from an Auburn game back in the 90's. The guy had just dropped a touchdown pass in the corner of the endzone:

Yeah Derris, that is the only incidence I could find, but some sites said he actually bit the guy.

There were t-shirts printed with that scene on them. I am truly, truly sad I didn't have the wherewithall to get one when I could. I would have that shot framed on my wall if I could, and for once the wife would cheer me on (HATES auburn, like any good person).
