i would go that far....but yeah they are damn good....

yep they are touring....alot of obners have posted about it as well...

so, i bet you really like the smashing pumpkins, because that's who i think of whenever i hear them.

they were in chicago a few weeks ago. i think there're things called "official band websites" that have tour information. (they're just wrapping up a US tour now.)

I do like the Smashing Pumpkins alot but Silversun are so much more sincere. They're really great to listen to at any time... driving in the car, chillin at home, on stage, shuffled into a mix cd. They're sound is unique enough but I could get anyone I know to listen and like them.

The new Katatonia, the great cold distance, goes really well with them too. Also the new Deftones. Those and the SP round out what I listened to in JH and HS so Silversun has an extra nostalgia appeal.

Like I said, they do it for me.

bloc party was overhyped last year
silversun pickups are overhyped this year

they are both worthy of the overhype....both records deliver...

so whats YOUR question?
