I took a test ride on one...it climbed sluggishly, and I didn't like the brake setup. Plus, bleeding those brake lines and filling tires with air would be a pain in the ass on the trail.

Biggest problem is when someone plays a joke on you and takes the seat off the post.

I read an article recently where a guy was complaining about having his bikes and various bike accessories stolen while it was parked downtown.

He suggested putting something very sharp in the seat post, cutting a hole in the seat and covering it with duct tape. Apparently, upon hitting the first bump while riding away with your bike, the thief will get a stab in the nuggets. Nice.
