so i thought i would show off my new boy



it absolutely rules for drawing in p-shop
i was getting pretty good with a mouse
but this has pressure sensitivity and shit

plus you can just turn it over use the eraser

now i can animate at a reasonable speed and more detail

(EDIT:PLUS its all cordless with no batteries and
works without any setup when you plug it in)

oh yea eat my shit

they are $100 at best buy
but i just noticed you can get new ones on ebay for about $70 (d'oh!)

tablets larger than this get extremely pricey really quick
and now i can see how that would be even better
but
the 4x6 size is actually plenty of room for what i do

WACOM is basically THE company that makes these
I almost picked up a generic but I had read too many bad customer reviews
but I see some of those go for about half cost

if you spend a lot of time drawing things with the mouse
you'll make your money back quick and it's a good buy

p.s.
i'm going to name him "randall"
and draw lots of cheerleaders and footballs with him
so that he doesn't turn out funny

I don't even do drawing and I think that's pretty awesome.
