If you've been daydreaming about buying the original pressing of that International Harvester LP, wait no longer as the gates of Metropolitan Pavilion open for the annual WFMU Record and CD Fair. WFMU brings together the biggest little record dealers in the country for a weekend-long obsession-fest that forces many "enthusiasts" to take out a second mortgage on their vinyl-cramped studio apartments. All entrants, even the casual browsers, can occupy themselves with a bevy of foodstuffs, film screenings (Krautrock documentaries!), DJ sets (soul 45s with Mister Fine Wine!) and live performances (Kropotkins!) to punctuate their buying binges. Note: $20 gets you early admission on Fri 11.3 (4-7pm) and an all-weekend pass.

I'll be there at least two fo the three days...

lately been a bit more vinyl for my taste.. i can probably do the show thouroughly in about 3 hours.
