This song is the only one on that album that I consistently skip - if not for "pt. 1", this would probably be one of my top 10 albums of all time...

Um, don't you guys mean "The King of Carrot Flowers Pts. Two and Three"? Cuz that's the one where he starts it out by belting "I love you, Jesus Christ". Anyway, I think that's one of the best songs on there. I usually get bored/ annoyed with "Two-Headed Boy", "Oh Comely", and "Two-Headed Boy Pt.2".

Anyway, these are my favorites of what's been listed here already:

Minutemen - "Jesus and Tequila"
Velvet Underground - "Jesus"

Add these:

Tom Waits - "Jesus Gonna Be Here"
The Flaming Lips - "Shine on Sweet Jesus" <---easily the best of their Jesus songs
Talk Talk - "Happiness Is Easy"

I forgot about a Jesus one that I heard on the radio just now:
"Come to Jesus" - Mindy Smith

It's a good'un, too.

Drinky, you are correct - I didn't have my CD Case/anything with me when I wrote that, and don't know the song titles all that well (unfortunately)...and "Two Headed Boy Pt. 2" is one of my favorites on that album..
