The one directed by Alejandro González Inárritu who also did the very good and underappreciated
21 Grams. Basically its about miscommunication and the random events that are generated that link people together through their actions. Anyone see this one yet? It stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett and is apparently the end of a trilogy.
Actually, I had a bunch of questions about it that I didn't understand but don't want to be a spoiler for those going to see it. So...
* SPOILER ALERT*
Does anyone know what was written on the piece of paper the Japanese girl wrote on and gave to the detective at the end? Why did she say her mother jumped off the balcony? Also, that ending scene between her and her father..WTF? How did they come to any kind of healing point btween them? The movie wasn't clear about that at all. Lots of uneeded nudity in this film too which was especially disturbing since the girl was supposed to be underage.
Also I felt that the sum total of the film was very anti-American. Did anyone else feel that too? The parts of the movie were definitely better than the whole overall.
