 Post subject: Apparently, I violated the U.S. Copyright Law

I received this email about my 'Southpark' picture:

Thanks for uploading photos to Webshots.

We recently received notification that one or more of your images were
uploaded in violation of U.S. copyright law, and, as required by law, we
have deleted 1 image(s) from your Webshots photo albums.

If you believe this is a mistake, and you are the sole copyright owner
of these photos and you can provide the appropriate documentation,
please contact our Customer Support department at
copyright@webshots.com.

The Webshots Terms of Use prohibit you from uploading photos that
you did not take or other images that you did not create unless you
have the permission of the copyright holder. The Terms of Use also
prohibit you from uploading photos featuring individuals without the
individuals' consent. This policy is designed to protect you from claims
for copyright and/or publicity rights infringements that could result in
monetary damages to you.

Thank you for your continued participation in the Webshots Community
and for your prompt attention to this matter.

Below is the list of photos we removed:

If this works, that means taking a picture of Colorado scenery and calling it "South Park" would violate copyright law, right?

I'll let Aaron answer that, but I don't see how it could. I'm going to put a picture of chicago in my online photo's and call it southpark and see what happens.

Well they deleted my southpark picture again. I should be getting another email any moment now.

I just wonder how they're doing this. I thought it was just looking for words that would indicate a violation and having someone look at the picture to check. But it would appear that they're either looking at every incoming picture or they have some kind of (I'm pretty sure impossible) image processing software that's really amazing.

they deleted the avatar, or the chicago picture you called Southpark?

You probably have a marked account now, so someone might really be looking at it.

They deleted the 'spence sp' pic. The chicago scenery pic named southpark hasn't been deleted yet, but I put it in a couple minutes ago.
