Does anyone here do this? As someone with a natural aversion to people in Santa costumes and crowded bars, I find this to be rage inducing.
Last night before I left to meet up with Shiv I was waiting for my lady in a bar that was relatively quiet until 40 people in costume stormed the place and were absolutely hammered. Like, puke in their fake beards wasted. Sigh.

A friend's friend did this last year, and I thought it was a pretty great concept. Pub crawls are awesome when the group size is manageable, and I could see the annoyance of something that big.

We should've taken a side trip and barred the doors to that place and lit it on fire.

About 6 years ago we had a Xmas party crashed by a group of male and female Santas, most of whom were in fetish gear. I didn't realize it was this organized an event. Just seemed like 20 fetish weirdos handing out tame spankings to a bunch of drunken office flunkies. But I guess that's the true spirit of Christmas if ever there was one.

i saw a bunch of drunk ass santas walking down the street towards a bunch of clubs on saturday night. gay clubs. hmm.

a buddy of mine started the atlanta one with a couple other guys like 10 years ago. i went once it frickin' ridiculous--but in the good way. he also started one in melbourne, fl when he moved there and that's up to 50 or 60 if what's i hear is true.

i think these (at least the two i mentioned) were independently-organized pub crawls. this whole santacon thing is news to me.

We have the Krewe of Craps during Mardi Gras time. They burst into the bar shitfaced. Roll the joint and throw plastic shit at everyone than leave for the next place. It's actually pretty amusing.
