I have a sister in Portland, and she slept downstairs for fear a tree would come crashing down on her bed on the 2nd floor. Gusts up to 100 mph will do that to you, I guess.

nothing much happened to me. guess there are a few hundred thousand without power and a bunch of trees down.

yeah, all was well at my homestead... took me an hour to drive 3 miles from my office to a friend's apartment, due to closed roads and downed power lines.
