Damn, this is good!
Thanks, Timis!

I just thought it deserved its own thread so that we could all share the love.

RIYL: Arcade Fire, Mercury Rev, stuff like that... in French.

It's basically the best french indie rock album Montreal as released in years.

Nice to see the 'Jube's getting some props stateside.

I liked what I heard from the blog sites, but have not heard the whole album.

What about Les Breastfeeders? Or Les Dales Hawerchuks? Tabernac.

You also haven't heard my francophone band: Happy Hour.

We're distributing this album, but I haven't listened to it yet. Just grabbed a copy.

Pierre Lapointe and Les Vulgaires Machins too i guess could be added to the list.

a bump for this marvelous album. timis bought it to my attn a while ago and i hadn't had a chance to give it a spin but when i did i was rather impressed. will probably end up cracking my top 20. anybody that liked arcade fire would pretty much have to dig on this.

I do not see the Arcade Fire connection, sorry. I want to say it'll appeal more so to fans of Dungen, and even Mars Volta. This is a bizarre record to me.
