we should pool together and buy her a greyhound ticket to austin for sxsw.

Or one of you georgians who's coming could probably fit her in your glove box, she's about that size.

looks like $71 with a 7 day advance purchase.

I don't know bobbo, that's $30.50 each of us can spend on whiskey.

Oh what the hell, i'll make a christmas miracle happen even if it's 3 months late. Although, if any of the georgians are driving in, then we CAN use that money for whiskey. For everyone. To help bring peace on earth, or at least in austin.

2 tickets for Saturday and Sunday at the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway in April.

Haven't been to a Nascar race since I was 9 years old but, along with the Kentucky Derby and the Masters, I've wanted to go to Talladega forever. All of those are decidedly southern sporting events and Talladega is known as the Redneck Mardi Gras.

Captain Redneck Ricky refers to it as "The Redneck Lollapalooza"

Who are you going with? I 'd probably be down for getting down and dirty in the 'Dega-Ba System.

At this point it's KK.

I have no idea of the logistics involved in such a venture at this point.

I will be looking to you for guidance.

Didn't give much as I am completely broke. As in broke enough to not even go home for Christmas (all of my family is in Ohio). I stayed in Athens at my house and watched movies by myself. Great fun.
I did give my boss (for the company secret santa) a set of The Grill Trading Cards, with all employees (who have worked there a year at least) and as many vets as I could find still in town. Ended up being around 43 cards. Not too expensive to have printed, but took LOTS of time (getting photos, compiling info, learning the hell that is Photoshop, and designing the cards). I'm no artist, but they came out pretty good. He loved them. I also gave the ex-whatever-the-hell-he-was a gift, but it wasn't really a Christmas gift, just stuff I had that I hadn't ever given him before we quit talking to each other, which I didn't want to keep. I just wrapped it and left it on his porch late Sunday night... I got a coworker friend of mine some boots she really wanted that actually cost a pretty penny for me, but she's done a lot for me over the past year or so, so I wanted to get her something she would love.
I got... um. Really nothing. I did get a T-shirt from my secret santa at work. Oh, and a very (as in comically) large rubber dildo. That's it. Now that I think about it, I didn't even get a phone call from the family I couldn't go visit. Oh well.

Ew. Gross... uh, I mean, Thanks! There is a gift receipt included right? You know, just in case it doesn't, um, fit...

Josh and I ended up with a lot of money received from a surprise bonus for me(from my stellar six months of working), his parents and my brother.

I received a 4gb Nano
Barnes and Noble gift card
Anthropologie gift card
A necklace from my son
A photo printer from my mom
A scarf from my niece/goddaughter

And that was it. We're using some of the cash to buy a new mattress and I'm buying some new athletic shoes and workout gear.

oh and I'm off tomorrow to search for the ipod Alarm clock/dock station.

friend of my wife's is giving us free broncos tickets for the final regular season game. of course, if the chiefs win by then, it won't be as dramatic. and if we have another big blizzard, then we won't be able to go anyway...

I pretty much got nothing.
But that's cool.
It was fun watching the kids open and play with their stuff.
