I never knew until a few days ago that the singer from Racebannon is also in another band, Rapider Than Horsepower.

So I'm a few days away from ordering pretty much their whole catalog for really cheap. Is this a mistake?

I did a search and didn't find a whole lot in the way of reviews and such, but I saw that cotton had been listening to one of their albums and mentioned them on here a while back. What do you think of them now?

I like the actual band in Racebannon as much or more than the singer, but I do like the singer a lot so I figure I may really dig this. Plus I've been waiting forever for a new Racebannon album while, unbeknownst to me, this other band put out like 3 records.

I have never heard a lick of Racebannon, so I can't offer much of a comparison here, but I still listen to that album (Stage Fright Stage Fright) which I think I got from Chase, but could be wrong. Not often, mind you, but it gets play without a doubt.
I wouldn't say the singer's voice is the strongest part of the band, but once you're used to it. They sound..I dunno, rambunctious? Really energetic. Maybe 0.3% poppy. I'll send it over if I can find it.

Oh, that's OK. I will most likely buy it for around $5-6 (including shipping) on half or amazon.

I heard some brief samples and liked the sound of them.
