Anyone heard this? It came out in April 2006, but I knew nothing about it until today.

It's Levon Helm (obviously), about a year after the show at Winterland that was in The Last Waltz.

The RCO All-Stars? It's these guys:
Dr. John, piano
Paul Butterfield, harmonica
Steve Cropper, guitar
Duck Dunn, bass
Fred Carter, Jr., guitar
Howard Johnson, horns
Tom "Bones" Malone, horns
Lou Marini, horns
Alan Rubin., horns

I'm assuming RCO stands for Rape, Crawlspace, and Oriifice.

Jesus bubba. This looks heavy.

Never knew about that one. I have the studio RCO All-Stars on vinyl and it's damned good.

Its great. I got it on emusic within a day of its release last year. Gimme some time, and I'll help you all out. Fantastic live show.

So, Levon Helm was apparently Elwood Blues long before Dan Aykroyd ever was.

Settle down everybody. It's just a bunch of old guys, and old guys are worthless. Ask South Pacific.
