wasnt we are scientists a 2005 release....i believe that disc was in my top 20 last year

Self-released record from a band out of Albany, NY. Four part harmonies, accordions, keyboards, upright bass, mandolin. Very, very nice. RIYL: Iron & Wine, Shins, Sufjan, Mountain Goats. "No One Called You A Failure" is brilliant.

That's because you are the man and listen to records six months before anyone else get them. This was released January 2006.

Oh wait, maybe you did. I just didn't see "Head Like A Kite" in the pull down, but it was your number 21, so you wouldn't have needed to add it.

is was #3 on my top 10 of 2005 list....GREAT RECORD regardless

nice list, you & i have the same #1.... cuz hot chip RULES.

also, you're the only the other person i've seen with 120 days on their list. :rawk: was #9 on my list.

#7 - human television, how is that record? i saw them at spaceland at some point during the summer last year and they were great, but i never got around to checking out that album.
