You mean the only thing related to nebraska that you need and not the only springsteen, right?

Stereolab - pick your fav. Mine's Emperor Tomato Ketchup.

I probably have ten Stereolab records, but I don't need ten Stereolab records.

Agreed. My favorite's Mars Audiac Quintet.

What have they done to you on the East Coast!

Don't really agree with most of the ones mentioned so far. About 80% of them you don't even need the album mentioned and another 15%, either the wrong album is selected or you need more than one.

Television "Marquee Moon" is an obvious one not mentioned yet.

Aw, I love 'em both. But fact is, if I listen to anythingbut After Murder Park it's out of duty - they're good, but I have a better album right next to it on the shelf. If 'Now I'm A Cowboy' - excellent though it is - disappeared from my life, I would still have somthing to listen to when I'm in that mood.

And the Ramones, come on. You have, say, Ramones Mania, even, and you're good to go.

Ditto on the Stereolab - I have four or five, but one would do.

I was thinking about bands that seem to release the same album over and over. What are some bands that have multiple releases where you really like them, but feel you only need to listen to the better disc because the other stuff is either the same, or not good enough?

Shins - Oh Inverted World
Spoon - Kill The Moonlight

Sorry, but I think you're off your rocker. The Shins have only released two albums. Give them a chance!

And Kill the Moonlight is nowhere near as good as their previous two albums.
