this has a lot of the cool glitched-out beats, with more found sounds and jarring rock elements.

how cool is that.

but its generally a lot like four tet, some caribou/manitoba, mice parade. its got this really positive electronica vibe. i'm really digging this. the guy is the dude who runs ache records (dfa1979, flosson, hot hot heat) and, not surprisingly, helps do distro or something for the div/orce series (four tet, matmos).

BTW, Kieran Hebden and Scott Reid are releasing an album together on 3/20. Don't know anything else about it though.

Steve Reid? I thought that was released awhile ago.

I just looked this up -- apparently they released two albums last year, and are releasing another one this year.
