As for the original question from Mr. G:

1. I've been busy as fuck. I still haven't seen Day 3.
2. From the first two days, the only one I was familiar with was The Strokes, and I wrote the Hip-D blurb for that one.

3. While I like this format for the results (and last year's as well), maybe having blurbs provided makes people reluctant to provide their two cents. Part of that could be from looking at the blurbs and thinking, "Shit, I can't write something that good", and part could be from not wanting to keep hammering a particular band into the ground, i.e. "Yeah, what he said."
