np: "armchair apocrypha" andrew bird

(it's looking more and more like he's going to pierce my 2007 top 5 somewhere between 3 & 5 initially. about as good as his last album.)

I listened to it last night. It seems a little less experimental and a little more straightforward than the last disc. It didn't catch me immediately the way his last album did, but his stuff tends to grow on you...looking forward to repeated listens of this.

your opinion?

Eh, ok. Only gave it one listen. Seemed like sunny, socal indie pop rock. I could be way off though, since it was just an initial listen.
