Curious to hear your thoughts on this. I love his previous two but think Magic Position is a massive stinker.

i really loved wind in the wires as well, and this one definitely has not hit me initially. a few songs are starting to stand out (accident & emergency, magpie), but the thing i loved most about the last one is it flowed and worked really well as an album. this one has no flow. he's lost his flow.

plus the album cover makes me want to vomit.

'tis a new calla. yet, it's just like the old calla. which is not to say it's bad calla. it's just the same old calla. which to me is better than no calla at all.

I listened to this yesterday and was so disappointed, I couldn't believe it.

Did you like this one as compared to his earlier work?
