I gotta pick up more Roky. His Don't Slander Me album has to be something I've played as much as anything else I own over the years. Nothing In Return shoulda been a huge hit.

The only Roky I've heard is the tribute CD I have. :(


That was my intro. And I'm glad I didn't stop there.
My essentials list:

13th Floor Elevators - The Psychadelic Sounds Of...
13th Floor Elevators - Easter Everywhere (at least about 3/4 of it)
Roky Erickson & The Aliens - The Evil One
Roky Erickson - Don't Slander Me

And I've heard that the acoustic demos album that came out about 1998 or so is pretty awesome. I need to pick that up.
