Babyshambles return with a new EP featuring 5 brand new tunes, due for release on December 4th.

Good stuff, and a bit cleaner than their debut album. "I Wish" is this fun, almost Toots And The Maytals jump up romp, and the title track is just killer Shambles. I posted "Beg, Steal And Borrow" a few months back which is another ace tune on this EP.

If you'd like to check this out, hit me up PM style.

Track Listing:

1. The Blinding
2. Love You But You're Green
3. I Wish
4. Beg, Steal or Borrow
5. Sedative

I liked that cover of Janie Jones you posted before...but not really sure if I liked the band or just the song as it is a long time favorite of mine anyway.

the ep is really good imo. the cleaner playing does them well, and the songs are catchy.

official PR for the babyshambles ep:

Quote:
BABYSHAMBLES’ FIVE-SONG EP THE BLINDING SET FOR DECEMBER 5 RELEASE ON CAPITOL RECORDS

Capitol Records has announced the upcoming release of “THE BLINDING,” the label debut from Babyshambles. The five-song EP is set to arrive in stores across the country on December 5.
Helmed by singer/songwriter Peter Doherty, Babyshambles has earned a reputation as one of the most compelling and controversial rock outfits of the era. “THE BLINDING” features five all-new Babyshambles compositions, the UK-based band’s first original material since last year’s acclaimed debut album, “DOWN IN ALBION.” All tracks were recorded this summer at London’s Turnmills Studios, and were produced by the band (see attached tracklisting). Babyshambles will be touring the U.K. this December, with a London date of December 7 at Hammersmith Apollo.
Among the highlights of “THE BLINDING” EP is the title track, recently described on NME.com by bassist Drew McConnell as “about the vacuous nature of tabloid newspaper attention. No matter how intelligent and strong you think you are, it still affects you.”
Babyshambles is: Peter Doherty – vocals & guitars * Mick Whitnall – vocals & guitars * Adam Ficek – vocals & drums * Drew McConnell – vocals & guitars.

Tracklisting:
1.The Blinding
2. Love You But You’re Green
3. I Wish
4. Beg, Steal or Borrow
5. Sedative
All songs written/composed/arranged by Doherty, Whitnall, Ficek, McConnell.
