i liked their record better than i liked them live, but what can you do. likely top 10, possibly top 5.

I've seen them live twice and both times they were fantastic. Both times in same small venue, a tiny record shop where the guys that run the shop do the mixing. I'd go see them live again -- very dynamic performance. The bass player looks like she's out of a Mad Max movie -- funny.

checked them out last night at cinespace.

i had to endure a pretty annoying bunch to see the show (including a wait in line on hollywood blvd with the stupist humans in creation). ugh. anyway, when they finally played around 1am, they were awesome. i can't wait to see them again at a proper venue. needless to say, i'm dead at work.
