Ok, thinking caps time--was listening to Lester Flatt this afternoon whilst walking home, and came across the song, "Drink That Mash, Talk That Trash". In it he speaks about taking his WPA check and buying mash with it, which inevitably gets him in trouble. I started thinking, and started wondering about other songs that dealt with the WPA, and how rich musically that period from '35-'43.
No other song pops into my head as directly referencing the WPA. Certainly Woody Gutherie comes to mind though.

So, this leads me to a thought--WPA songs compilation.
