Today: Been sick as hell and this is the last full day to rest. Taking it easy, doing some laundry, making some final Austin arrangements.

Sat: Errands, go see "300" early afternoon, pack.

Sun: Headed to Austin for SXSW/The Mongerlympics

My friends and I are going to ride our mopeds across the golden gate bridge and into the marin headlands tomorrow. Picnic and more moped riding on Sunday.

we don't do much backpacking these days anymore. more car camping. we old.

Dude, I'm just trying to get back into car camping these days; I look at my huge internal frame backpack hanging in my garage and LAUGH that I would ever haul it very far anymore...

Tonight: Going to get some food, then back here for some reading and chilling out in front of the tube, not going to the Thermals (I've already been to the other side of ATL once today and dont really feel like going back--we tired). Fiance closes now on Fridays which means I'll be asleep before she gets home.

Saturday: up early, doing some early spring yard work, or if it rains, cleaning/organizing house. Meeting up with Derris/FemDerris et al for whatever in the evening. I can almost guarantee my fiance will drunkenly pass out during our late night, 40 minute drive home from Atlanta.

Sunday: Brunch, then errands. Early dinner at my parents house with my brother, his wife and their two rugrats. At least 5 aspirin after that. Relax, maybe start watching The Wire S1.

Today - on my way out for broken west/walkmen
Tomorrow - volunteer gig, plan to hang out in DC after, likely the National Gallery. House chores.
Sunday - work? Poss. blind date (hook my up with your eligible balt-dc buddies, obners - only dealbreakers are crazy, mean, republican, or god-botherers)

Tonight:

The gods having shined down on me today as I stopped into a local boozer to pick up some drinks and found.....

:rawk:

I couldn't believe it. I asked FEMJACK whether I was dreaming, and she assured me that it was true. I bought everything they had in stock. I asked the clerk how they managed to get this precious brew and he said that the local rugby team can't get enough of this drink. It's official, I'm an athlete.

Sat/Sun: Probably continue the celebratory drinking. We got gorgeous weather here so I'll likely be grilling as well.

Congats on the score, Mr. Charlie.

I'm surprised that FEMJACK didnt get in the car and leave you there. She'll be changing the locks by weekend's end.
