This just came out and it is obviously excellent. It's the first in a series to chronologically collect all the Love & Rockets material. There's two series being done, covering Gilbert's Palomar material and Jaime's Locas stories.

Whether you read or are into graphic novels/alternative comics or not, you owe it to yourself to pick these up. Or at the very least check your library the next time you're there.

I like Express the best...or maybe Earth, Sun, Moon.

That looks pretty cool. I'll have to check it out.

Anyone heard their later electronic albums? I think they're good too. what's Daniel Ash and co. doing these days? They need to reform with Peter Murphy and do something worthwhile again.

"express" came out when i was a soph. in college. the following year, that cd had been stolen 3 times out of my collection. nothing else. never got that.

"sweet f.a." never got the love that it deserved. really great album!

Didn't they tour last summer?

Yes, they also toured in 2005.

Not sure what Daniel Ash is up to these days... I did know he did the theme music for "Keen Eddie" a few years ago (a show which I thought was really cute but never got the recognition it deserved).
