Today my creative writing class was cancelled becuase some girls in my class heard two guys talking in a closet in my building about doing something in 9 minutes. The girls figured that since we were having our moment of silence in 9 minutes that they might be planning to shoot the place up so they told my teacher. Needless to say every one was freaking out and the building was evacuated. I don't think anything ever happened, but the whole experince was surreal, just goes to show how much fear these things breed.

If the job description includes getting shot at nowadays, I better be getting a raise. I don't want to spend my time noticing that the room I taught in yesterday has pretty much no alternate exits.
