Right now I'm listening to Nancy Griffith singing "Going Back To Georgia", which she does as a duet with Adam Duritz from Counting Crows.
Now, I don't hate Counting Crows, but I'm not a fan either. Still, the sound of his voice... I love it. As long as I don't have to look at the guy's face. His contortions and grimaces are more cringe-worthy (and almost certainly more affected) than anything Joe Cocker did. But his voice. I do like it.

I've recently noticed that all the unfortunate events in the lives of blues singers all seem to rhyme... I think all these tragedies could be avoided with a good rhyming dictionary.
